A bus bunk is the small hive like cell with a foam pad, blanket, pillow, light and sometimes a tiny TV that roadies sleep in while traveling in a tour bus.

Many humans can fit into a single bus bunk but typically it is easiest to sleep if just one occupies the space. Selecting the a good bus bunk is very important. The upper bunks tend to have more sway while the lower bunks tend to be near where the roadies remove their often less than wonderful smelling shoes. The rear bunks are closer to the back (read "party") lounge so this can be an issue if sleep is your intent. It is highly recommended that you travel feet forward in the bunk because in the unlikely event that the bus driver decides to stop abruptly, you will avoid having your head slam into the end of the bunk.
