Some form of chemical used to influence, alter, or change a human’s mood or behavior.

The most common and legally used influence is alcohol; the most common illegal influence is marijuana. In other cases, illegal drugs such as narcotics and/or amphetamines are used in a wide variety of forms.

In extremely rare cases (because it is believed to be a myth) some humans have tried to derive pleasure from licking the cane toad pictured below. It has been reported that this poisonous amphibian’s secretions may have a pleasurable influence similar to “being wasted.”

In their travels around the earth it has been reported that roadies have tried to locate and capture these toads to experience their intoxicating effects. To the dismay of the adventurous roadie pictured below, the only one he found, when licked, didn’t even create a buzz.
