A tasteless and hopefully noiseless entity that allows our eyes to see what we are looking at, often emitted by strobes at the very second you are looking at them. Light, as with many things, is a fickle mistress. When you need her - say, during a particularly complex changeover - she disappears, only to return at the 6am lobby call in a manner reminiscent of having screwdivers pushed into your eyeballs. The first can be blamed on the lampi. The second can usually be attributed to drinking, a self-inflicted condition thought to be linked to the back lounge.

It has also been rumored that light can be used to illuminate the band during a show; and on rare ocasions enhance the visual aspect of the show. This has been largerly debunked by the theory that no ones leaves the arena humming primary blue.
