A Stage Plot is a visual representation of how things are set up on the stage. Such things are shown as drummer location, guitar amp placement, placement of monitor wedges, stage power requirements.

Many times they are more detailed then the example here, showing distances and other items. [Image:http://www.themonitorguy.com/pics/albums/userpics/lighting_plot_large_stages.jpg]

Often times Stage Plots are accurate, however it isn't rare or unheard of for a Stage Plot to be outdated or have last minute changes made without informing any of the parties that have a need to know the information. Often the most up to date stage plot can be obtained from the human who is actually touring with the band, rather than management types back at the office, who will typically pick any stage plot from the last ten years of the band's existence at random to send to you.
