A Wireless System is an electronic device that converts a signal into a radio wave, and converts it back at the other end. While they usually work, wireless systems have a habit of failing at the wrong time, requiring the services of an RF Genius to perform a proper exorcism of the demons which got into the system. Hence, if you can't afford to bring an RF Genius on tour, you might want to invest in really long XLR cables...
