Rat Sound Systems News February 2003

Tours and Shows:


Ben Harper has been rehearsing for the last month preparing for a busy year of touring. Rat has supplied a MicroWedge 12 and  Vdosc System for full production rehearsals. Ben Harper also purchased from Rat several new Sennheiser 3000 in-ear monitors and two  Innovason Grand Live Consoles.


The Donnas have just finished up a US tour utilizing MicroWedge 12’s and Shure in-ear systems.


The Foo Fighters spent January in Australia and brought with them a Midas Heritage 3000, Yamaha PM4000M, and a processing package.


Glassjaw is out on the Sno-Core tour with MicroWedge 12’s.


Chris Robinson has taken out a Ramsa 840 console and microphone package on his current tour.


The Red Hot Chilli Peppers continue their world tour in Europe. They are using two Midas Heritage 3000’s, L Wedges and Drumfills, Shure PSM700 in-ear, and lots of processing.


Pearl Jam has begun their latest tour in Australia and Japan. They brought with them a large monitor system with S,M, and L wedges, a Yamaha PM4000M, and a full processing package.


Rat Supplied sound for all 6 stage of the Nike Run Hit Wonder Event February 12 in Hollywood. The Run hit wonder was a 10k run featuring 6 “one hit” wonder bands playing along the course. The bands were: Missing Persons, Flock of Seagulls, Gerardo, Animotion, C&C Music Factory, and RATT.
