Blink 182 US Tour 2004
Rat Sound is proud to go on tour with Blink 182 once again! Click for 2004 Tour Pics Just finished the North American leg co-headlining with No Doubt. No Doubt provided their own colsoles and monitor rigs (apart from the sidefills) and Rat provided all gear and personnel for Blink (see below for equipment used). Both bands used a Rat PA. I know the guys found this tour particularly challenging with 2 major coheadliners, set changes etc, but all in all it proved to be successful. As Andy Rat said, (monitors for Blink) "The biggest challenges were moving the different set pieces around the back stage area, especially in the the very small venues. We only had 30 minutes to complete set change which was ok when we were switching from Blink to ND because Blink had very little set to speak to strike from the stage. But when we changed from ND to blink it was a totally different story. Just maneuvering the ND set pieces around was challenging and then once in place it all had to cabled up. The good thing was that no matter what sound company you worked for we were all were just like one crew just working really hard to get the set change complete".
